Stella Schweppenheiser is a junior undergraduate student studying Psychology in the Honors College at the University of Utah, with a possible minor in Business. Her research interests include morality, human behavior, decision-making, and prosocial behavior, with a particular interest in how perceptions of others and situational factors influence moral judgment and helping behavior. She is especially interested in the intersection of morality and the legal system, including how connections to victims, perceptions of individuals’ backgrounds, and social context may influence attitudes toward intervention, punishment, and rehabilitation. She is currently working as an undergraduate researcher in the Morality, Altruism, and Prosociality (MAP) Lab and plans to pursue a career in the legal field after graduation.
