Ella Stacconi is a senior undergraduate student studying Neuroscience at Boston College. She is currently working on her senior thesis through Boston College’s Morality Lab and in collaboration with Kyle Law. Her thesis will explore the effectiveness of traditional organ donation promotional materials in changing attitudes, knowledge, and intentions towards becoming an organ donor. The measures from the traditional materials will be compared to measures from clips taken from the primetime medical drama Grey’s Anatomy where information regarding organ donation is embedded within entertainment media.
